Meeting 1 :
A meeting of Government College Paonta Sahib Alumni Association’s Governing Body was held on Date 7-10-2016 soon after its formation. The meeting was held in the library hall at the college.
The following members were present in the meeting.

Following decisions were taken in the meeting.
- The society will be registered immediately with the register of Societies, SDM Paonta Sahib, Distt. Sirmour (HP).
- It was resolved to open the society’s bank account after registration of society.
- After registration process is over and society registration number is obtained:
- Printing of receipts books
- Letter head shall be printed
- Rubber Stamps of the society shall be purchased
- A flex banner of Alumni association shall be printed and branch.
- Office assistant shall be appointed immediately so that the Alumni Association may be smoothly administered. It was unanimously resolved that Sh. Anil Kumar shall be appointed as office assistant with effect from date of registration of society. A token honorarium of Rs 200. Per month shall be paid to office assistant (subject to availability of funds.
- A special member drive shall be launched to enroll greater of old students in the alumni association.
A meeting of the Governing council of the GCD Alumni Association was held on 11-03-2017 in the office of the Principal, Govt. College Paonta Sahib.
The following member were present in the meeting.

Secretary Dr. Jahid Ali Malik apprised the council that the society has been registered with SDM, Paonta Sahib under H.P Society Act-2016 no 36/2916.
The receipt banks, membership form has been printed and purchased. Rubber stamps (Six) has been purchased.
It was resolved to enroll more number of old students in the alumni association.
Secretary apprised the council about the know your State- HP, GK contest, which was organized in association with Lakshya Shiksha Smiti.
Discussions were made on the forthcoming NAAC per team visit to college for accreditation.
Meeting 2 :
A virtual meeting of the GC Paonta Alumni Association Governing Body was held on dated 2 August 2021 through Google Meet platform from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The following members attended the meeting:

- Dr. Jahid Ali Malik, General Secretary, GCPAA (Nominated)
- Sh. Satish Kumar, Joint Secretary, GCPAA
- Sh. Sunil Bhardwaj, Treasurer, GCPAA
- Sh. Dinesh Kumar Pundir, Advisor, GCPAA
- Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Internal Auditor, GCPAA
- Dr. Pooja Bhati, Office Secretary, GCPAA (Nominated)
Dr. Jahid Ali Malik addressed the meeting and welcomed the Chief Patron, Dr. Veena Rathore to address the members of Alumni Association. She appealed to the GCPAA governing body to increase the number of members in the GCPAA social handles such as facebook page and whatsapp group. The main agenda items of the meeting were discussed and following decisions were taken in the meeting:
- Confirmation of nominated members: The chief patron confirmed the nominated office bearers Dr. Jahid Malik: General Secretary and Dr. Pooja Bhati: Office Secretary.
- Career guidance by alumni: Sh. Rishabh Sharma and Sh. Santosh Gupta were proposed to take offline career guidance/ motivational/emotional/GK talk and they approved to conduct such a session as soon as possible for the betterment of the students.
- Seminar by alumni: The conduction of seminar on any social issue or as a source of knowledge was proposed to be conducted in the meeting and Vice-President Sh. Santosh Gupta assured to schedule it.
- Teaching by alumni: Teaching by any alumni or any resource person sponsored by any alumni was also proposed in the meeting and Joint Secretary, Sh. Satish Kumar agreed to work in this direction.
- Felicitation of student achievers by alumni: The agendas were deeply discussed and it was proposed that excelling students in any field such as academics, sports, cultural etc. may be felicitated by alumni association
- Scholarships by alumni: The meritorious students may be given scholarships from alumni funds. The scholarships may be recurring or non-recurring depending on the availability of funds. President, Sh. Rishabh Sharma announced scholarships of worth Rs 1100/- each to first three toppers of B.Sc. 3rd Year.
- Fund contribution and mobilization: The members suggested that monthly donations may be made by the alumni for high fund contribution so that any felicitation process may be carried out. Sh. Rishabh Sharma assured to make contacts with leading industries for any kind of CSR activities.
- Organization of competitions: The quiz competition about “Know your State” that was earlier also organised by alumni in association with Lakshya Shiksha Samiti was proposed to resume. It was proposed that more of such quiz competitions must be held in the college through alumni association to have an active interaction amongst the students and alumni members and the funding expenses may be sponsored by the industrial sector
- Enrolling more alumni in the association: A special membership drive shall be launched to enrol greater number of old students in the alumni association. But before that it was proposed to check the account details of the alumni bank account in HP State Cooperative Bank and update the signatures of the office bearers so that any kind of credit or debit transactions may be made conveniently.
- Alumni General House: It was proposed that if Covid 19 pandemic situation improves, an offline batchwise or open general house to all the alumni may be called before December subject to the conditions.
It was also apprised by the Chief Patron that a Book Bank is being established in the college and so the contribution of the alumni is expected for increasing the number of books in Book Bank to which Sh. Rishabh Sharma demanded the list of books that have to be supplied.
With the above discussions, the virtual meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jahid Malik.
