Profile
Department of Music was established in the year 2007.In 2007, the department started its post
with B.A.(Bachelor of Arts) in music instrumental. But in 2010 the department also started its
post with B.A.(Bachelor of Arts) in music Vocal. Over the years since the inception of the
college, the department has grown in tune with the demands of the institution and improved its
strength. As of today, Department of Music is one of the servicing department which impart
sound knowledge in music. Two faculty members are working in the department of Music.
At present Department of Music offers under graduate programme.
At present the department has the strength of 100 appearing students in B.A. Music.
The music department organise time to time music programmes, workshops and seminars. All
students of music take interest in all cultural activities and participate in the H.P.U. Youth
festival .
