The Department of Chemistry at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Government College, Paonta Sahib, organized a formal farewell ceremony for its MSc second-year students. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Principal Dr. Vibhav Kumar Shukla. The ceremony began with a warm welcome and felicitation of the Chief Guest and MSc second-year students by MSc I Year students. Anjali and Rohit of MSc I Year efficiently managed the proceedings as anchors. A captivating performance, including a Ganesh Vandana by Sanjana, paper gifts by Mahak, Amandeep, Gargi, and Mona, and an emotional rendition of self-composed poems by Professor Amita Joshi and Lieutenant Dr. Pooja Bhati, added to the event's charm. Principal Dr. Vibhav Kumar Shukla inspired students to stay grounded while striving for excellence and to find joy and fulfilment in their pursuits. Professor Sulakshana Sharma encouraged students to always remember their mentors.


Special Feature

The ceremony's highlight was the conferment of personalized titles to each second-year student, based on their individual characteristics. This initiative added a unique and emotional dimension to the program.


Cultural Performances

 Students showcased their talents through various performances, including dance, poetry, singing, and instrumental music. A memorable group song by Amandeep's group “Aa chalke tujhe main le ke chalun “and a song by Professor Pooja Bhati added to the event's emotional appeal. A video of memories by Sakshi, a speech by Kshitiz, a poem by Prakriti and a dance performance by Komal Chandel, guitar presentation by Arvind from MSc IV Semester made the function memorable. The farewell ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Muskan and Amandeep, followed by a song by Professor Pooja Bhati and the National Anthem. This event served as a fitting tribute to the MSc students' academic journey and marked a memorable milestone in their lives.
