  2. Healthy working environment in the department.
  3. There are number of books available in the main college library for BCA students.
  4. Overall development of students.

WEAKNESS:

  1. Poor communication skill due to rural background of students.
  2. There are less number of computers for students.
  3. The fee structure is high as compare to B.Sc. Computer science.

OPPORTUNITIES:

  1. Paonta Sahib being an industrial hub provides varied job opportunities to BCA students.
  2. Good potential for higher education in the courses like M.C.A.,M.S.C.( IT),M.B.A. etc.
  3. Students of BCA can pursue in the field of Education, Joa(IT) etc.

CHALLENGES:

  1. Time and fund constraints to organize industrial visits and guest lecturers for students.
  2. Lack of computers for BCA students.
  3. To complete syllabus and make student understand the content due to blended mode of teaching and lack of resources.

FUTURE PLANS:

  1. To conduct IT company visits for students.
  2. To organize guest lectures.
  3. To organize Rozgar mela.
  4. Strengthening academic with industrial collaboration.
  5. Setting up of another computer lab.
